Boudoi is operated by Boudoi Team and functions as an image-to-text AI tool focused on food-related content.
Because Boudoi works by processing images provided by users, certain data must pass through the system in order for the app to function. This document explains, in plain terms, how that data is handled.
If you are not comfortable with the practices described below, you should stop using Boudoi before uploading any images.
Boudoi does not ask users to create detailed profiles or submit personal identifiers.
In normal use, the app only interacts with:
· food photos you voluntarily upload
· short usage-related inputs tied to analysis requests
· messages you send if you contact support
No background collection takes place outside of these actions.
When you upload a food photo, Boudoi’s AI examines visible elements such as ingredients, portion appearance, and general composition in order to generate written nutritional observations.
The system does not attempt to evaluate your health, habits, or physical condition. The analysis is limited to what can reasonably be inferred from the image itself and is generated for informational reference only.
Boudoi does not collect, store, analyze, or infer facial data or biometric information.
The app does not perform facial recognition, facial mapping, landmark detection, or identity analysis. Boudoi does not attempt to identify individuals appearing in images.
If a face or person appears incidentally in a food photo, that visual element is ignored for identity purposes. The AI does not isolate facial regions or extract facial characteristics. Image processing remains focused solely on food-related visual features required to generate suggestions.
All image processing occurs within a temporary functional environment. Once the requested output is generated, any temporary data created during processing is automatically removed. Boudoi does not maintain facial datasets, biometric profiles, or long-term image records.
Your original images remain under your control. When images are deleted or the app is no longer used, Boudoi does not retain copies or backups.
Boudoi is designed to minimize data retention.
Image-related data exists only for the duration necessary to complete the requested analysis. After processing is finished, temporary data is cleared automatically.
Support-related communications may be retained for a limited time to address user inquiries or resolve issues, after which they are removed according to internal retention practices.
Boudoi may request access to certain device features, depending on how you choose to use the app:
· Camera — to capture food photos directly
· Photo Library — to upload existing food images
· Microphone — used only for text box voice-to-text input
· Network Access — required to transmit images for processing and retrieve results
Permissions are requested only when a feature requires them. You may manage or revoke permissions at any time through your device settings. Disabling permissions may limit specific functionality but does not activate alternative data collection.
To keep Boudoi functioning reliably, limited technical data may be processed, such as device type, operating system version, and basic error diagnostics. This information helps identify bugs and improve performance.
Boudoi does not use this information for advertising, profiling, or behavioral tracking.
Boudoi may rely on trusted infrastructure providers to process requests and deliver results. These providers act only on Boudoi’s instructions and are not permitted to use data for their own purposes.
Boudoi does not sell user data and does not share personal information with advertisers or data brokers.
Boudoi is intended for users 17 years of age and older.
The app does not knowingly process information from individuals under this age. If underage use is detected, access may be restricted and related data removed.
As Boudoi evolves, this privacy overview may be updated.
The most recent version available within the app will always apply. Continued use after updates indicates acceptance of the revised version.
